Reborn Relic No. 2 - Stryker, the Crimson Gryphon

This piece started as a vintage cast-iron statue with a visible split along the center seam. I sealed that split with epoxy, built out the armor and cross plates, and brought out his character with luminous metallic paints and a protective clear coat. From humble iron to heroic sentinel, this is the moment Stryker sprang to life and joined the Breyerwood Sanctum. He’s weighty, fierce, and unmistakably one-of-one - Stryker could only have been born from this Reborn Relic.

Lore

Stryker is the crimson-clad watchman of old gates and quiet hearths - unyielding iron, steady heart. When danger prowls the borders, he lowers his helm, crosses his plated chest, and stands between the wilds and the ones he loves. Gryphons don’t chatter; they vow. Stryker’s vow is simple: guard the threshold, keep the light.

Collector’s Note

A tasteful tribute for local griffin pride - especially those who favor scarlet and gold.

  • Reborn Relics – Where History Meets Fantasy

Each Reborn Relic starts as a forgotten antique - a lamp, statue, or trinket waiting to be reborn. With paint, imagination, and a touch of magic, I transform these finds into one-of-a-kind characters from my fantasy world, the Breyerwood Sanctum, as featured in my magazine DRAGONBEAT.

Named, numbered, and brought to life with story and detail, every relic is a miniature legend - and no two are ever the same.
