Lotus Heart was created during my in-person workshop week at Milan Art Institute, a week that marked a turning point in my growth as an artist and in my commitment to learning with structure and confidence. This painting is part of my Forms of Feeling series where each piece embodies an abstract emotion, and Lotus Heart represents Renewal and Becoming. The flamingo reflects quiet strength and gentle presence, set against a cool, dreamy atmosphere that feels both calm and expansive. Layered within the piece is a lotus form, a symbol of rebirth and spiritual awakening, and a reminder that transformation can be soft, steady, and deeply personal, that quiet inner shift that happens when you step into a new chapter. Peaceful on the surface and powerful at the core, this painting holds the feeling of becoming.
