Lore:

Bold, hot-headed, and impossible to ignore, Smolderdash is as much a symbol of passion as he is protection. His wings glow with drifting embers, leaving trails of light across the sky. He was the first to awaken when the Sanctum formed, rising from the last cinder of the Great Burn to watch over its borders. His temper flares easily-but so does his loyalty. Despite his dramatic flair, he’s deeply committed to the safety of the Sanctum, even if his methods sometimes singe the furniture.

 

Abilities:

• Blazetail Comet – Aerial dash that leaves streaking flame

• Ignition Roar – Can ignite surroundings with a single roar

• Firebound Pact – Temporarily bonds his flame to another for protection or power

• Heat Sense – Detects threats through thermal fluctuations

Fun Fact: Smolderdash once lit an entire celebration on fire by sneezing too close to the fireworks. No regrets.

Lore:

Born from starlight that touched volcanic ash, Mooncinder is a fierce and regal presence in the skies. She watches the Sanctum from her perch atop Breyerwood Ridge, where the stars feel close enough to speak to. Her glowing feathers flare brighter during full moons or when emotion rises. Though feared for her temper, she is deeply protective—especially of wayward hatchlings like Zizzletail.

 

Abilities:

Lunar Flare – Glows with radiant light that dazzles foes

• Nightveil – Cloaks her in shadowy moonlight

• Tailfire Volley – Her tail ocelli flare and launch fireballs

• Celestial Wake – Temporarily stills time for a heartbeat

Fun Fact: Mooncinder claims she doesn’t babysit. But Zizi seems to think otherwise.

Lore:

Gliding through the dark oceanic trenches, Shimmara is a dragon of memory and mystery. Said to be born from the breath of a dying sea god, she can recall the past of any drop of water she touches. Her luminous scales and whispering tail lights guide the lost—and warn deceivers. She guards the Subaqueous Archive, or perhaps she is the Archive, swimming through history itself.

• Aura of Calm – Pacifies nearby sea life and storms

Lore:

Once a co-guardian of the skies, Boltrix now rules the distant peaks in exile. He seized the Sanctum’s storm cores without approval to avert disaster—and paid the price. Regal, brooding, and feared, Boltrix now waits beyond the veil of thunderclouds, crackling with the weight of ancient power. Some believe he is a villain. Others say he is misunderstood—a force cast out too soon.

Bolt Judgement – Precision lightning strike

• Veil of Cumulus – Conceals terrain in stormcloud

• Thunder Mark – Causes foes to hear thunder before he arrives

• Storm Crown – Arcing lightning halo in battle

Fun Fact: Boltrix never blinks. Ever.

Lore:

Hatched under a moonbeam burst and a sneezing fit, Zizzletail is a walking glitterbomb of unpredictable magic. Discovered by Grumblethorn and reluctantly mentored by Mooncinder, Zizi is already adored across the Sanctum for her sparkly charm—and feared for her accidental frog-transformations. She hoards trinkets, befriends anything with whiskers, and asks the kinds of questions no one’s ready to answer.

 

Magical Quirks:

 

• Bioluminescent sneeze sparks

• Levitates pebbles when giggling

• Tail twitches near old magic

• Colors shift with mood

 

 

Fun Fact: Zizi once turned a berry bush into a choir of singing frogs. It was… memorable.

Lore:

Silent as an owl, Wispra appears only to craft and bless dragon eggs, infusing them with powers they will discover in time. She visits each hatchling on its birthday until maturity, offering cryptic wisdom before vanishing once they come of age.

• Eggweaving - Fuses life and magic into eggs

• Silent Flight - Appears and vanishes without a trace

• Whisper Wisdom - Shares crptic guidance in few words

 

Fun Fact: No one has ever heard her raise her voice - yet her whispers are always clear.

Lore:

A sworn defender of the Sunken Courts, Coralyndra rides her cobalt hippodrake Riptide through the rifted halls and trench corridors. His Echoloom (sonar-like) thrums map through the dark currents, her trident keeps raiders at bay, and together they move like a single thought.

 

Abilities:

​Runesense: Can read/awaken old sea-runes; faint glow when nearby.

Current Shaping: Bends local currents and eddies for bursts of speed.

 

Fun Fact: Detests treasure hunters; will return artifacts to their rightful alters. 

Keeps a pouch of polished "memory shells" from rescued sites. 

 

Shimmara is her ally; with mutual respect, they keep separate stations and coordinate during deep-sea crises.

A gentle giant with a snow-dusted coat and a cocoa-loving soul, Gruffalo guards the northern border of the Sanctum with warm paws and belly laughs. Though noble and wise, he's constantly mistaken for Dragonsquatch sightings due to their similar build. He insists it wasn't him - but with his marshmallow-shaped belly, snack obsession, and tendency to appear near campgrounds, many remain unconvinced. 

 

Abilities:

Avalanche belly slide - yes, it's as fun as it sounds.​

Snow Whisperer - knows when storms are brewing well in advance. 

Thermal Aura - radiates warmth in freezing zones.

Fun Fact: Misidentified as Dragonsquatch... frequently... even though he is tubbier, shorter, softer, and has a big marshmallow belly.

Blushes when accused. Denies everything with a smile. 

Favorite snack: Hot chocolate... with marshmallows.

Lore:

Nobody knows exactly when Dragonsquatch was first sighted. Some say he emerged from a giant moss-covered dragon egg buried deep beneath Breyerwood's oldest tree - the Weeping Beech tree in the center of the Sanctum. Others claim he appeared after the Great Flood which carried logs, mud and debris from the Northern Everglades.  

 

What's Confirmed:

• He roams the woods at dusk.

• He leaves giant three-toed scorch prints in muddy trails.

• He smells faintly of pinecones, campfire, and suspiciously like sugar.

• He's very camera-shy but very good at photo-bombing magical selfies, though he's never quite in focus.

Notable Trait:  Mossy, shaggy hide that self-repairs when it rains

Lore:

Deep in the shadowy hollows of Breyerwood Ridge, whispers tell of a creature too wild to be real... and too real to ignore.

They call him Dragonsquatch.

Some say he's Sasquatch's hotter cousin. Others say he's a campfire myth gone rogue. A few claim to have seen him - just a blur beyond the trees, glowing eyes, smoke curling from his nostrils. And the marshmallows? Gone. Every time.

Whether he's a cryptid prankster or a warden of the campfire realms, no one knows for sure. One thing's certain: Bigfoot was just the warm-up act. 

 

Abilities:

• Pyro-puff snout: Emits smoky bursts from nostrils when startled, amused, or judging your snack choice.

• Trail Cam Evader: Causes devices to glitch, fog up, or (allegedly) spontaneously combust.

• Marshmallow Teleportation (probably): Campers report marshmallows vanishing mid-roast - and occasionally, entire unattended bags. No footsteps. No warning. Just a suspicious puff of smoke... and the sweet smell of sugar
